Kia ora Minister,
In your capacity as the Minister of Police, under the Official Information Act 1982 I request copies of:
- All documents and correspondence - including SMS, Signal, WhatsApp, and other messages on all social media and messaging platforms - between you and the Associate Minister of Police, Hon Casey Costello, relating to disclosures made by her to you relating to any of any her staff's inability to gain or maintain a New Zealand Government National Security Clearance since the Minister took office on 24 November 2023.
- All documents and correspondence - including SMS, Signal, WhatsApp, and other messages on all social media and messaging platforms - between you and the Associate Minister of Police, Hon Casey Costello, and your respective offices, relating to the measures taken to mitigate these risks and how your offices intend to withhold information from individuals who have not met the ability hold or maintain a clearance.
- All correspondence between you and your office and the Department of Internal Affairs noting the matters referred to above.

Corrections, Emergency Management and Recovery and MP for

this will be referred to his electorate office.
