I am writing concerning your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request
(reference 29895) of 16 January 2025 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Trade for:

…any internal monitoring documents or advice provided related to the USA
TikTok ban, or any documents proposing advice regarding a similar ban in
Aotearoa.

This email is to advise that we will need to extend the time limit for
responding to you by 7 working days, to 25 February 2025. This is due to
the consultations necessary to make a decision on your request (section
15(1)(b) of the OIA refers).
