Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I would like to request the medical assessor guidelines for all categories of medical conditions, with a distinction made between temporary applicants and residence applicants.

Specifically, I am particularly interested in detailed information regarding the conditions listed under “A4.10.1 Medical conditions deemed to impose significant costs and/or demands on New Zealand's health and/or education services.”

On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 17/01/2025 requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982, the following:
I would like to request the medical assessor guidelines for all categories
of medical conditions, with a distinction made between temporary
applicants and residence applicants.

Specifically, I am particularly interested in detailed information
regarding the conditions listed under “A4.10.1 Medical conditions deemed
to impose significant costs and/or demands on New Zealand's health and/or
education services.”
 
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 17/02/2025, being 20 working days after the day your request
was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe. If you have any enquiries
