This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Pen Parker to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Pen Parker
Dear New Zealand Police,
I am writing to request detailed information regarding incidents involving pro-Palestinian activist groups in New Zealand since October 7, 2023. Specifically, I am seeking:
1. A comprehensive list of all events where pro-Palestinian groups have been involved in activities that resulted in legal violations or required police intervention. For each event, please include:
- Date and location
- Description of the incident
- Nature of the legal violations or disturbances reported
2. Details of actions taken against the perpetrators in each event, including:
- Number of individuals arrested, detained, or fined
- Specific charges filed
- Outcomes of any legal proceedings, if available
For example, I am aware of the following incidents:
November 8, 2023: An Auckland Jewish congregation center was vandalized, and there was an attempted arson.
November 23, 2023: Protesters blockaded the Ports of Auckland, leading to six arrests.
December 30, 2024: Protesters led by John Minto disrupted the ASB Classic tennis tournament, causing a match to be temporarily halted.
I am particularly interested in understanding the full scope of such incidents and the measures taken by law enforcement in response.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
Pen Parker
