From: MCGROGAN, James (Jimi)
New Zealand Police
Kia ora Sophia,
Police is putting together a response to your request for information
about those that have been shot and killed by NZ Police.
Whilst the names of those who have been killed are in the public domain,
we recognise that there are some sensitivities involved with publishing
names, particularly to the whanau of those killed who still have to live
with the trauma of losing loved ones, particularly more recent cases.
As such, I would like you to consider if you would nominate another way to
receive results, perhaps through a private email address rather than
through the FYI site.
I would appreciate it if you could get back to me and we can move forward
on your request.
Many thanks,
Inspector Jimi McGrogan
