The 2008 BCA audit report CAR 6 required ODC to provide each building consent with a specific set of inspections needed. The CAR was cleared on 05/08/08 so all subsequent building consents should have on file this list of required inspections, and when to call them.

Under LGOIMA/OIA we want ODC to make available for us to view two complete, non-confidential property files that includes all its consent documents (stating when to call all inspections etc), all inspection sheets (i.e. the complete set of inspections specific to that build), file notes, stop work notices, notice to fix etc done correctly and with the accompanying CCC document - one file from a current build, and the other file from a build post 05/08/08 but which used the same inspection sheets that were current for our build in 2008).

Thank you for your response dated 22 March 2016.
To clarify our request: under OIA we ask ODC to make available for us to view two complete, non-confidential property files that include when to call all inspections (as per CAR 6 in the 2008 BCA audit report), and all inspection sheets. The files do not necessarily need to have a Notice to Fix or Stop Work Notices if these situations never arose. One of the files needs to be from 2008 or 2009 which used the same inspection sheets as were used on our house, and the other from a recent build.
There should be no need to spend any time searching for these files. The CAR 6 in the 2008 BCA audit report was cleared on 05/08/08 so any non-confidential files after that date should fulfil the request.
