Salary Bands of Staff Breakdown by Gender and Ethnicity

H. Chen made this Official Information request to University of Auckland

The request was partially successful.

From: H. Chen

Dear University of Auckland,

According to Collective Agreements made in conjunction with the New Zealand Tertiary Education Union, the University of Auckland has different salary bands for staff depending on both level/grade/steps and type of staff (Professional, Medical, and Academic)*.

I would like to request a count of the men and women in each of these salary bands that are currently employed, cross referenced with their ethnicities. For example (but not necessarily broken down in these ethnic groups):

Professional Staff, Level 6:
Gender European Maori Asian Pacific Other
F 100 100 100 100 100
M 100 100 100 100 100

If it is also possible to include those who do not associate themselves with either the male or female gender without a breach of privacy in these breakdowns, that would also be appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
