The Auckland Transport Operations Centre has reviewed our cameras and
confirmed the footage relating to your request is available and has now
been saved. However, Auckland Transport does not supply CCTV footage
directly to members of the public due to reasons of privacy. Available
footage of a specific incident or alleged crime will only be released to
the New Zealand Police, upon receipt of a request from them.

 

Please advise the New Zealand Police about the available footage quoting
reference number CAS-789119-B0Z3D8, and to contact the writer directly to
arrange pick-up of the relevant footage.

 

Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your
request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA
to make a complaint to the [1]Office of the Ombudsman to seek an
investigation and review of the decision.

Dear Auckland Transport,

 

Can I please request CCTV footage of an accident I was involved in.
Specifically, I am looking for footage of a vehicle that made an illegal
left turn from Great South Road (citybound), turning into Greenlane West.
It cut in front of the me (on a bicycle), causing me to fall and damaging
my bike. It occurred on Friday, the 15th of June, 2018, between
8:40-8:46am, at the Greenlane intersection.
