Hello Russell,
 
Thank you for your patience, with regard to your request for information
related to the Council’s involvement with the New Zealand Initiative.
 
The Council has been a member since 1 April 2015, with annual
subscriptions as below:
 
1.4.15 to 31.3.16       $20,000
1.4.16 to 31.3.17       $20,000
1.4.17 to 31.3.18       $20,000
1.4.18 to 31.3.19       $20,000
 
The Chief Executive has attended three NZ Initiative events:
 
Members Retreat in Auckland -  17/18 March 2016
Members Retreat in Auckland -  23/24 March 2017
Members Retreat in Auckland - 8/9 March 2018           
 
The Chief Executive received regular newsletter emails, and hard copy
research reports – these reports are also available on the NZ Initiative
website [1]https://nzinitiative.org.nz/, as well as invites to events with
guest speakers (which are also listed on the website).
 
The newsletters and reports are not retained once viewed by the Chief
Executive, so we are unable to provide these to you.
 
Additionally, the Council does not receive, or generate, reports into the
benefits received through membership of the New Zealand initiative.
 
There has been no further correspondence related to the NZ Initiative in
the past 12 months.
