Invitation to express concerns
Karen Anderson made this Official Information request to Dunedin City Council
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Dunedin City Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Karen Anderson
Dear Dunedin City Council,
My preference is to receive the requested information by email.
The report of the Chairperson of the Dog Control Working Party states:
“The discussion opened with participants invited to express any concerns they had relating to the Dog Control Bylaw 2016 (the Bylaw).”
I have no memory of this occurring. I reviewed the audio records of all meetings while transcribing them and have also reviewed them since receiving the report. I have not been able to locate the place in any audio record of any meeting when that occurred. This prevents me confirming the report "fairly [represents] the matters dealt with by the working party" as I was advised by the in-house legal Counsel you wished to ensure.
Accordingly I have been requested by members of the Dunedin Dog Bylaw Group to ask for:
(a) The date of the meeting this invitation was made.
(b) The time in the audio record the first participant begins to express their concerns.
(c) If participants were not invited to express their concerns in succession, the date of the meeting and time in the audio record where each participant begins to do so.
Yours faithfully,
Karen Anderson
