NZ Bus Statistics
Jonathan Brewer made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council
The request was successful.
From: Jonathan Brewer
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
Buses are the most commonly used means of public transport in the Wellington region. They are an efficient and affordable way of transport in urban areas, and are especially attractive for trips to congested areas with few or expensive car parks.
Unfortunately some routes are unreliable and frequently run late or not at all. It is the cancellations that hurt passengers the most - especially those who commute for work and those who use the Airport bus.
For cancelled trips over the past three calendar years, please provide a spreadsheet detailing the days, departure times, routes, and reason for cancellation for each instance.
Yours faithfully,
Jonathan Brewer

Dear Mr Brewer
I am contacting you in regards to your recent Local Government Official
Information Act Request for "NZ Bus Statistics" from Greater Wellington
Regional Council.
We would just like to clarify that it is only the statistics for the bus
service operator 'NZ Bus' that you are after?
If you are able to clarify that as soon as possible, it would be much
appreciated.
Kind regards
Jared Humm

Dear Jared,
I am looking for statistics from the service operator "NZ Bus" in particular. You are welcome to include statistics from other contracted carriers (i.e. Mana/Newlands) if these will not slow the process down.
Yours sincerely,
Jonathan Brewer
