Outlet of Muaupoko Stream into Waikanae River
Viola Palmer made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
New Zealand Transport Agency did not have the information requested.
From: Viola Palmer
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
I am a New Zealand citizen.
Since the Kapiti Expressway was built the flooding of the Muaupoko Stream at Greendale Reserve, Otaihanga, and the surrounding farm land has been worse.
Could I please have the following information.
1. Why was the old culvert replaced ?
2.When was the new double culvert put in place ?
3. Is it temporary or permanent ?
4. Is there an intention to improve the outflow of the stream and mitigate flooding with a larger culvert?
Please provide the answers in pdf format.
Thank you,
Yours faithfully,
Viola Palmer
