Good Afternoon Marianne
This request was assigned to Detective Sergeant McPherson. I understand
that she assessed that a substantial amount of work and time is involved
to process this request and that Police will likely charge for it. I am
unsure as to whether DSgt McPherson has communicated with you and provided
an estimate of how much it will cost to process this request.
Unfortunately she has suffered the bereavement of a close family member
and I am unable to confirm with her whether she has been in communication
with you or not until she comes back to work.
In any event, the request is due tomorrow so I am advising you of an
extension to the due date of this request.
If D/Sgt McPherson has not yet done so, the first communication you will
receive is an estimate of the cost that will be charged for the request to
be processed. This communication will be sent to you by 7 June. That will
also detail what a timeframe is for the data to be retrieved and reviewed
and a response prepared.
You have the right to complain to the Ombudsman about the notification of
an extension.
Regards
Dave Lynch
