Privacy impact assessment for new surveillance system

Dear Auckland Transport,

Today Radio New Zealand reported that Auckland Transport planned to install hundreds or thousands of new surveillance cameras around Auckland, and that these would include facial recognition technology ("Auckland Transport's $4.5m plan could mean 8000 cameras watching the city", RNZ, 12 August 2019). I would like to request the following information under LGOIMA:

* A copy of any privacy impact assessment of the new system;
* All advice and communications about the facial recognition capabilities of the new system;
* A list of all organisations which AT intends to share information from this system, or who will have direct access, and a copies of the terms of such information sharing or direct access.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
