The numbers and names of businesses sent extra SUIPs in 2021 and the ones
who were exempt are as follows:

 

SUIPs applied to rates late May 2021:

Names of businesses are all with-held under section 9(2)(a) of LGOIMA to
protect the privacy of natural persons. The numbers are:

o Two self-contained units in garage
o One Real Estate office
o Two hairdressers

 

SUIPs to be applied from 1 July 2021:

Names of businesses with-held under section 9(2)(a) of LGOIMA to protect
the privacy of natural persons. The numbers are:

o Three hairdressers
o Two shops
o Two grooming/massage businesses

 

Names of businesses that can be released are:

o The Robin & Co., Tapanui, Separate business within the West Otago T&C

There was one instance of a business to which SUIPs were applied. However,
further investigation showed they were not applicable and so they were
removed.
