Staecy made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Staecy to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Staecy
Dear Ministry of Health,
I wish to request information if compensation payments are made to families who have had loved ones suffer a major reaction from the Covid Vaccination.
Are compensation payments made to families who have had loved ones die as a result of the Covid Vaccination - or die shortly after the Covid Vaccination?
If so - can you please share this amount with the public.
Yours faithfully,
Stacey

Thank you for your email regarding the COVID-19 vaccination. New Zealand
operates a no-fault accident compensation system. The Accident
Compensation Corporation (ACC) provides assistance and cover in these
situations. Further information is available at:
[1]www.covid.immune.org.nz/faq/will-acc-provide-cover-covid-19-vaccination-injuries.
I have transferred your request for the total amount ACC has paid in
claims relating to COVID-19 vaccinations to ACC, in accordance with
section 14 of the Official Information Act 1982 as the information is
held by ACC.
I hope you find this information helpful. You have a right to seek an
investigation or review of this response by the Ombudsman, whose contact
details are: [email address] or 0800 802 602.
Kind regards
