Dear Porirua City Council,
The Council has recently made available on its website its responses to some of the LGOIMA requests it receives. That information is available here: https://poriruacity.govt.nz/your-council...
Not all council responses are made available on its website. Indeed, the website says this: "We do not publish every response we process – only those of wider public interest, rather than private matters."
In this respect I request the following information.
- what factors or parameters are applied when making a decision whether or not to post the LGOIMA response on the website.
- which staff member is responsible for making the decision whether or not to post the LGOIMA response on the website.
- when the website refers to "private matters" what exactly does this mean,
- how many LGOIMA requests has the Council responded to since it started posting responses on its website (apparently in 2019), and of those how many were actually posted on the website.
- why has the Council's response to OIA 21-143 not been posted on the website
