Dear Kaipara District Council,
I wish to withdraw parts of my request due to inaccuracy. I wish to withdraw bullet points 4, 5, 6, and 7.
The points are currently as follows:
"
*the system and company with ownership of the system, if applicable, used/contracted to work the traffic lights;
* the total sets of traffic lights:
* the total amount of traffic lights between the two sets;
* the total cost for the traffic lights themselves with a subtotal showing the price of each set;
"
I also wish to add the following to the request:
* what is the rated capacity of vehicles using either roundabouts;
* why roundabouts were chosen over traffic lights
* how the extra traffic due to the 'Mangawhai Central' development is expected to affect either roundabout;
* were there considerations into the Kaipara District Council purchasing land from 15, 17, 27, 29, 35 Insley Street, and 41 Moir Street to create a four-way intersection linking Insley Street with Molesworth Drive directly? (https://photos.app.goo.gl/kH7aBYSxYpMnS9... - picture showing my proposed route);
Thanks once again for this information.
Yours gracefully,
Oliver Simpson

Hi Oliver
Thank you for your email requesting information on the Mangawhai town
centre under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
1987.
There is a large amount of information including technical reports,
designs and plans, available on our website.
[1]https://www.mangawhaicommunityplan.co.nz/
As you will see there are a number of projects associated with the
Mangawhai Community Plan. They are the;
o shared path on Molesworth Drive
o Village roundabout roadworks
o Wood Street Revitalisation ( referred to as the town centre) –
currently still in trial mode.
As your request stands there is a significant amount of detailed
information that to research and collate, is likely to attract a charge.
Can I suggest that once you have had a look through the website if there
is anything more detailed you require please come back to me.
Regards Linda
