Medical Compliance for Police Officers
Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Chuck Schooner (Account suspended)
Dear Andrew Coster, Ashley Bloomfield, Michael Wood & Poto Williams,
This official information act has a few parts to it but can the relevant agencies please collaborate to provide me with the answers I require. The main crux of this request is to the Police Commissioner and I urge you to investigate this thoroughly.
Are you able to confirm if the NZ Police has completed any due diligence surrounding the the mass roll out of the Experimental Gene Therapy (Covid-19) vaccine and the potential impact of an untested gene therapy on the New Zealand Police force. Are you able to provide me with any and all communications/correspondence that the NZ Police has completed in assessing the safety of the experimental gene therapy and any agencies be it the Ministry of Health, Office of the Prime Minister or any other agencies and the dates associated. If not can you confirm if you have relied solely on Medsafe and their assurances that this is safe and ushered in mandates based on reliance of this information only and none of the police doctors have looked at this.
Along with that and given the government is the main shareholder in Air New Zealand are you able to provide the following information
- Have Air New Zealand mandated the gene therapy for their pilots
- What proportion of Air New Zealand pilots have been fully vaccinated
Are you able to confirm as the science evolves in relation to the experimental gene therapy that the NZ Police will continue to monitor officers and their ability to meet NZ Police Medical Standards.
Recently the attached Pfizer document has been released - https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/202...
In a previous Official Information Act Request the Ministry of Health allude to them receiving this information in a different format to meet their legal requirements. Since this document is now out can Medsafe/Ministry of Health please provide the above Pfizer information as per the information below.
"Pfizer has provided the same data, albeitin a form that meets the company’s legal obligations in New Zealand. The conclusions of theCumulative Analysis Report are consistent with the information and data provided by Pfizer to Medsafe as a part of its provisional consent obligations in New Zealand.
Back to the police commissioner and required for comment based on the ten pages of serious side effects that are listed in the Pfizer document would a Police Officer be able to pass a medical because the gene therapy is shown to list the following as serious side effects
- Embolism & thrombosis
- Cardiac
- Heart attack
- Seizures
- Neurological and more
All of these side effects occurred in the short term - so to me that would mean that all of these sudden events could occur at anytime and happen to active police officers.
Has a cost benefit analysis been done on mandating the vaccine for officers - please provide any and all recommendations completed by the police commissioner that the benefits of mandating the vaccine and potentially losing officers outweigh the costs.
Given the force will be fully vaccinated is there a concern that the whole force will have compromised health - would it not be wise to retain officers and the commissioner go into bat for his employees rather than implementing the little tinpot Mrs Gayfords mandates?
As a practical example a fleet driver for Move Logistics in a 50 tonne truck was forced off the road in the south island with heart palpitations and is in hospital. Currently in the process of verifying this but this serves as a warning that this is happening in a practical sense. Can the Police Commissioner also provide the following
- Total Number of car crashes through 2020, 2021 and 2022 (to date) for comparative purposes
- Total Number of singular car crashes
- Total Number of multiple car crashes
- Can you confirm if the Coroner assessed if any of the drivers suffered a sudden event in advance
- If not - why not? And can an assessment be done after the fact
Here are some examples of individual crashes this year only - there seem to an awful lot of them in one month - coincidence
- 19 Jan car crashes into Coromandel sea
- 15 Jan one person dies Amodeo Bay
- 17 January one person dies single crash SH6 Wanaka
- 17 January one person dies single crash
- 4 January one person dead single car crash
- 10 January one person dead in single car crash Mangakino
- 15 January one person dead hitting tree Waerenga
An awful lot of single car crashes.
Further to this are also able to provide the call outs that Police, Fire and Emergency and St John attended in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 (to date) for cardiac events in the age group 0 - 20. Please liaise with Ministry of Health if you require. I know of one that I have verified that has already occurred this year. Can you also provide in the age group the vaccination status of the person involved in the cardiac event (this won't be relevant for the previous years).
Yours faithfully,
Chuck
