I refer to your request of 14 June 2022. The University’s response
follows.

 

“1) As an institution listed as a member to Business New Zealand,

a) what is the cost of membership per annum?
b) Since when has the University of Auckland been a member?”

 

“2) What advice or services has the University of Auckland received from
Business NZ since its membership began?”

 

The University is not a member of Business New Zealand.

 

“3) How many meetings regarding Fair Pay Agreements have University of
Auckland representatives had with Business New Zealand?”

 

Zero.

 

“4) We request any correspondence between Business New Zealand and Te
Pūkenga in regards to Fair Pay Agreements.”

 

We understand that your reference to Te Pūkenga here is a mistake, and you
intended to request correspondence between Business New Zealand and the
University of Auckland concerning Fair Pay Agreements. No such
correspondence exists. This constitutes a refusal of your request under
section 18(e) of the Official Information Act 1982.

 

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
