Thank you for following up with NZTE on 7 December about the OIA request
you originally submitted on 8 November 2022. We have looked into the
matter and found that there was an error in the automatic allocation of
emails to action tasking at this time, which resulted in your original
request not being received and acknowledged. We apologise for this and
have requested FYI.og to change the email address used to contact NZTE so
that future requests cannot get caught in this IT system error again.

 

NZTE will make a decision on your request as soon as reasonably
practicable and within 20 working days of 7 December 2022, as the date we
received your request. Please note that as the Act does not include the
time period between 25 December and 15 January as working days, the latest
date for a decision on your request is 25 January 2023. We acknowledge
this is not ideal when you submitted your original request on 8 November,
and will process your request as fast as reasonably possible, aiming to
get this to you as early as possible.
