Accessible Streets programme update

Krista Stevens made this Official Information request to Michael Wood

The request was partially successful.

From: Krista Stevens

Dear Michael Wood,

I am writing to you in your role as Minister of Transport.
I request any information relating to decisions made at the Cabinet level regarding the Accessible Streets package that was consulted on in 2020, and that was going to cabinet in 2022 with a rule change proposed.
In particular I would like to see any minutes of a cabinet meeting that discussed the proposal.
If these are not available, I would like to see any correspondence between the minister and officials relating to the Accessible Streets programme between July 2021 and today. In particular, I am interested in any correspondence that would show why this programme has not been progressed.

Yours faithfully,

Krista Stevens
