Liam made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was refused by New Zealand Police.
From: Liam
Dear New Zealand Police,
I would like to request all documents submitted by any media and news agency under the OIA to get the statistics published today (In 2014, 14 tickets between speeds 1km-4km and 13 tickets in 2013) in the below articles:
http://www.3news.co.nz/nznews/holiday-sp...
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/politics/news/...
I would also like any and all responses to these requests.
I am particularly interested in the time frame it took between the submission of the OIA request to NZ Police and the returned data. It is my concern that Media enjoy a quicker processing of OIA requests that citizens and I would like any information that shows that this is or is not the case in relation to this data.
You may also be aware I have a request pending reply from NZ Police regarding this data, which I would still like a response from.
I am a NZ citizen, as required under s12(1) of the OIA 1982.
Yours faithfully,
Liam Stoneley
