In this sixth part of our comprehensive series under the Official Information Act 1982, we seek to assess New Zealand's diplomatic actions and international engagement related to the Gaza crisis from 7 October 2023 to 1 February 2024.
The aim is to gain a clearer picture of the country's international diplomacy and policy efforts during this period, with an emphasis on the effectiveness and extent of its diplomatic initiatives considering ongoing developments.
We build upon our prior assessments of humanitarian aid, specialized healthcare system support, educational and cultural impacts, financial contributions, and most recently, sanctions, diplomatic relations, and peacekeeping considerations.
