Under the OIA I would like to request the following;
As per the Mayor’s recent media interviews, all instructions, advice, comments or suggestions to councillor's, staff or council officers from Tory Whanau or her office regarding Mayor Whanau’s ADHD diagnosis and how meetings, obligations and communications should be structured or set.
All communications between Tory Whanau and her office and Ethan Manera or NZME representatives regarding the Mayor’s TikTok account, being neurospicy and the organisation of media interviews.
All communications if any between the Mayor and her office and property developer Sir Mark Dunajtschik or his representatives after the 29th of February.
All communications if any, from the Mayor and her office regarding her renewing her Green Party membership. This should include all internal communications, texts, emails, press releases etc.

Wellington City Council (the Council), requesting the following
information:
1. As per the Mayor’s recent media interviews, all instructions, advice,
comments or suggestions to councillor's, staff or council officers
from Tory Whanau or her office regarding Mayor Whanau’s ADHD diagnosis
and how meetings, obligations and communications should be structured
or set.
2. All communications between Tory Whanau and her office and Ethan Manera

Your request is being considered under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1972 (LGOIMA). The Council will endeavour to
respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than
8 July 2024, being 20 workings days after the day your request was
received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe.

As per the Mayor’s recent media interviews, all instructions, advice, comments or suggestions to councillor's, staff or council officers from Tory Whanau or her office regarding Mayor Whanau’s ADHD diagnosis and how meetings, obligations and communications should be structured or set. No emails, texts, correspondence or meeting notes have been provided regarding meetings, obligations and communications regarding Mayor Whanau and her diagnosis.
Please clarify if contrary to your initial response communications have now been withheld or indeed there are no written communications of any sort dealing with this subject matter, therefore cannot be provided.

I can confirm the Office of the Mayor provided no written or recalled communications regarding Mayor Whanau's ADHD diagnosis and how meetings, obligations and communications should be set. Mayor Whanau had private and personal conversations with her staff, which led to the changes.
