Kia ora Matahiwi,
Thank you for your request for official information received on 15 July
2024 requesting:
“Can you please provide all BORA assessments/vetting documents, or any
documents referencing these, that relate to Covid-19 vaccination
mandates.”
The Ministry of Health has decided to extend the period of time available
to respond to your request under section 15A of the Official Information
Act 1982 (the Act) as the consultations necessary to make a decision on
the request are such that a proper response to the request cannot
reasonably be made within the original time limit.
You can now expect a response to your request on, or before, 2 September
2024.
You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to ask the Ombudsman to
review my decision to extend the time available to respond to your
request.

Dear Phil,
Thank you for your response. I note that the information you provided relates only to workers at Managed Isolation and Quarantine Facilities (MIQFs), and international airports and ports.
This does not satisfy my request for:
"all BORA assessments/vetting documents, or any documents referencing these, that relate to Covid-
19 vaccination mandates."
In line with my original request, please provide all the BORA assessment/vetting documents as well as any other documents (including internal emails, meeting notes, briefing papers etc) that reference Covid-19 vaccination mandates. To be clear, that includes any proposed mandates that were not subsequently adopted.
Yours sincerely,
Matahiwi

Dear OIA Requests,
To be clear- this is not a new request. I am simply asking that you fully respond to the request that was transferred to you on July 16, 2024.
You have already extended the date on this, and then only provided a snippet of the information you must hold. If the rest of the information is not provided quickly I will raise this with the Ombudsman.
Yours sincerely,
Matahiwi

Look at State Of Emergency legalisation and internaional law iot allows nations to restrict rights in certain situations such as a global pandemic . while it is seen as a infringement by many it is not for all and governments have to make decisions.
