Hutt City Council is making changes to the GIS data for Outstanding Natural Features and Outstanding Natural Landscapes as part of the District Plan Review.
The exact changes are not yet finalised as they are part of ongoing evaluations by our landscape experts.
The amended data will be made publicly available once it is finalised.
This will likely be in late November or early December.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.

The data requested relates to specific information referred to in the agenda of the District Plan Committee. It is information that absolutely is within the scope of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
I do not need to see the finalised information. I want to see the original version and the data as it stood when the text of the agenda was drafted.

The data you refer to as the 'original version', was supplied to you in our response to a previous LGOIMA request on 11 September.
This is attached.
The updated information will be in the Approval to Notify on the Proposed District Plan, which is going to Council on 4 December 2024.
Therefore, we are refusing this part of your request under section 17(d) of the Act, as the information requested will become publicly available.
