No fixed abode consideration in AML/CTF Regulation

Miss W. Forest made this Official Information request to Paul Goldsmith

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Miss W. Forest to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Miss W. Forest

Dear Minister of Justice, Hon Paul Goldsmith,

Please provide the Bill of Rights and Human Rights reports & assessments that have been done relating the the AML/CTF required address verification obligations -- specifically pertaining to No Fixed Address provisions where people do not have fixed address.

I believe this assessment would have done when adding / considering / touching s. 15(d) and 16(1)(a) of the AML/CFT Act considering the reporting entities obligations on Human Rights with crown obligations regarding Bill of Rights as to in/compatibility.

And it should have been done when there was work and consideration given modifying those provisions this year at least by the minister.

Thank you!

Yours faithfully,

Miss W. Forest
