Dear P Robbins,
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request,
received on 22/10/2024, in which you requested the following:
any meeting notes and minutes recorded by you or your office for meetings
held on the following dates:
9 May 2024
8 August 2024
28 August 2024
12 September 2024
26 September 2024
I am writing to advise you that as it stands, your request may be refused
under section 18(f) of the Act which applies where information cannot be
made available without substantial collation or research.
We are inviting you to clarify the meeting notes and minutes you are
seeking. For example, you may wish to:
o Specify a particular meeting the Minister had on the dates listed.
o Nominate a time period for which meetings you are seeking information
(for example, between a specific window of hours for each day).
o Specify a particular topic you are seeking notes and minutes for.
Please note, any clarification or amendment of a request is considered to
be a new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory
timeframe for response—see section 15(1AA) of the Act. We will be in the
best position to respond to your request if you provide a response by
Friday 25 October 2024.

Dear Allie Chau,
I decline to refine my request.
Yours sincerely,
P Robins
From: Allie Chau
Dear P Robins,
Thank you for your email.
On 22 October 2024, we contacted you via email to discuss the scope of
your request to better understand what you were looking for and narrow the
scope. The reason for this was due to the broad nature of the request and
the fact that no specific meeting notes were requested. This meant that
the response would require substantial collation that would unreasonably
impact the normal operation of the office.
As you declined the option to refine, your request is refused under
section 18(f) of the Act, as it requires substantial collation and
research that would be expected to unreasonably impact the normal
operation of the office.
Yours sincerely,
Allie
