Clearway parking
Steve Hall made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Steve Hall to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Steve Hall
Dear Auckland Transport,
There is a location that has Orange road cones with printed clearway signs outside the premises during night hours.
Can you confirm if this is a genuine clear way, or if this is the resident of the building using their own signs illegally to gain parking preference for themselves.
The location is outside Jerry Xu Art Studio on Wiremu Street Balmoral.
There are no road markings, however the signs to the left and the right indicate 60 Minute parking.
Location of building is available here https://imgur.com/a/7JuRf4Z
Yours faithfully,
Steve Hall

From: Steve Hall
Dear Transport Ops Feedback (AT),
Can this please be answered, I get people are busy, but we are at the 4 month mark almost, for what I would have imagined was a reasonably simple request.
This is beyond what I would call an acceptable delay
Yours sincerely,
Steve Hall

I’m the Customer Care Team Leader Transport Ops who’s looking into your
case
My name is Ronnie and I’m a Customer Care Team Leader Transport Ops at
Auckland Transport.
Firstly, thank you for your follow up email on the 4th March regarding an
update on what is happening with your case about orange cones on Wiremu
Street. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
I have engaged with our Road Corridor Access team to potentially conduct
an investigation into the location you provided where orange cones have
appeared on the road, blocking others from using the parking space. I can
confirm that there are no “Clearway” restrictions applicable on Wiremu
Street.
Once we have conducted an investigation, we will be sure to let you know
about the outcome.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
Remember, if you need to provide us with more information or have any
questions, you can simply reply to this email leaving the subject line as
it is.
