 1. What is the expected life span of the tree?

 

The tree will be on display from Saturday 23 November to Sunday 5 January,
the 5 min light show runs every evening from 23 November until 4 January
from 6pm to 10pm.

Organisers Heart of the City suggest the tree will have a lifespan
exceeding ten years. The council’s contribution covers the first two
years.

 

 2. Can you confirm that no rate payer money other than from the city
centre targeted rate was used?

 

We can confirm that the city centre targeted rate is the only source of
council funding for this initiative.
