Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I write to you as a car enthusiast to request some details about the upcoming replacement of the 'Class 1' sedans in the Crown fleet. In particular, I am interested in the fleet of BMW 7-Series sedans.

Would you be so kind as to provide the following information where possible:

i) The number of BMW 7-Series sedans currently in the Crown fleet;
ii) How many of which are the G11/G12 type chassis (purchased around 2015/2016);
iii) How many, if any, are of the older F01/F02 type chassis (c. 2010);
iv) Whether there are any petrol 7-Series, and if so, how many.

v) The timeline (calendar quarter) for the replacement of the 7-Series sedans;
vi) Whether the government intends to sell the cars through public auction, and if so, with which auction house;
vii) How many of the 7-Series sedans the government intends to sell.

viii) Whether the replacement vehicles are going to be petrol, diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or pure electric;
ix) Which marque and model the government intends to purchase to replace the BMW 7-Series.

Yours faithfully,
