Dear Auckland University of Technology,
I am requesting information on any university funds that have been allocated to the promotion of books authored by Vice Chancellor Salesa. Specifically, I would like to know:
• The total amount of AUT money spent on hosting functions to promote these books both in New Zealand and overseas.
• A breakdown of any costs incurred, including but not limited to marketing, catering costs events, books purchased by AUT to gift to external parties, and other staff time.
• Any AUT policies regarding the use of university funds for the promotion of staff members’ personal publications.
Given AUT’s commitment to transparency and responsible spending, I look forward to your response.
