Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

 

In January 2017, the NZTA published the "Advanced Bus Solution" report

This report examines rapid transit options between the Auckland CBD and
the Airport.

 

Part of the report was a Cost Benefit Analysis of proposed AART and AART+
options and showed "the CBA favours AART+ over AART".  I am interested in
understanding the details of how the NZTA estimated the CBA for these
options.

 

1) Can I please have a copy of the detailed cost figures used to support
the Advanced Bus Solution report ?

 

2) Can I please have a copy of the detailed benefit figures used to
support the Advanced Bus Solution report ?

 

3) Can I please have a copy of the detailed patronage figures used to
support the Advanced Bus Solution report ?

 

4) Can I please have a copy of the detailed Cost Benefit Analysis
calculations (including the spreadsheet formula) used to support the
Advanced Bus Solution report ?

 

I would prefer the information was provided in its complete and original
format.  I would also prefer that all correspondence on this OIA request
be via the FYI web site.

 

Finally, can the NZTA please acknowledge this OIA request ?
