Peter King made this Official Information request to National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa
The request was successful.
From: Peter King
Dear National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa,
I would like to request the publication of the following information in digital form:
The following data about all electronic books submitted as either epub, mobi or PDF files under the library's electronic legal deposit system.
Spreadsheet column headers and or JSON headers should be as follows
-ISBN
-Format deposited: Kindle/Mobi or ePub or PDF
-Title of Publication
-Author's full name
-Publishers Name
-Year of Publication
- Open / Restricted status
Ideally data would be published as a spreadsheet and as a JSON file hosted on the National Library website in a readily accessed location.
This information should be available to the public of New Zealand in a simpler form than the National Library's catalogs.
Yours faithfully,
Peter King

Dear Peter King,
Following your request for “data about all electronic books submitted as
either epub, mobi or PDF files under the library's electronic legal
deposit system”, we have prepared both an Excel and JSON file for you.
They are available here:
[1]https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qqypvzc0ores5...
We have included all the digital monographs we have received, as the term
books can mean different things to different people. Therefore, to ensure
we have included as much as we can to fit this description, these files
include government publications, musical scores and a recent (very large
and ongoing) archiving of documents from the New Zealand Legal Information
Institute (NZLII).
As requested we have supplied information covering: ISBN, format, title,
author, publisher, year of publication and the access status. We have
also included the NLNZ Identifier (which allows direct access to the
specific bibliographic record in our catalogue), plus the IE PID, which
appears in our catalogue records and provides the direct link to the
digital item when it is open access, or returns a notification indicating
the access status of the item if it is not freely available.
Access Rights Policy:
Open – Available anywhere on the Internet through our catalogue
Restricted – Available onsite only at the National Library in the
Katherine Mansfield Reading Room where files cannot be downloaded, copied,
emailed or shared.
Dark Archive – Archived by the library for preservation but with access
provided through a URL in the record pointing back to the live original
document on the provider’s website.
Yours sincerely

Peter,
The authority's response of 3 April included a sign-off sheet that should not have been included, and which they have asked us to remove.
The authority will likely send an updated email with the extra page removed.
Rather than delete first the email, I have made it visible to you only (on the basis that you would still have it if you had not used the FYI service). I will delete it from the site if you wish.
Oliver
