Dear National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa,
I wish to see copies of all feedback and consultation provided to the National Library on its Draft removal and disposal policy.
Book Guardians was informed that this consultation was a genuine one. We wish to see copies of the submissions made to the consultation by all those who submitted.
If there are records of meetings with submitters, in the form of notes taken by another person who sat and observed the meetings, then Book Guardians requests to see those notes as well.
In addition we wish to see internal documentation which covers the discussion around the policy after the submission process ended, including documents covering the current state of the draft policy. These may include meeting agendas and minutes and emails between relevant staff.
Yours faithfully,
Michael Pringle
