From: Richard
Dear FOXWELL, Holly,
I find it difficult to believe that Police were not aware of any VIPs as the Operational Policing Order for Operation FAGA notes at section 4.2.1, on page 4, that there were to be VIPs in attendance. Sections 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 have been redacted from the Operational Order, without any notation as to why this redaction was made. Again, these sections are under the heading VIPs.
Stating that Police were not the hosts of the event, therefore does not hold any information on VIPs attending the event, when a Police Operational Oder, co-branded with the host of the event, specifically mentions VIPs is quite clearly not logical.
I respectfully ask that Police reconsider its reply to this request, or advise that it is unwilling to do so so that a complaint can be lodged with the Ombudsman, without further delay.
Yours sincerely,
Richard
