Dear New Zealand Police,

Your agency reported in a public statement that overseas officers, including some from Hong Kong, were involved in the rescue operations following the tragic terror attacks that took place in the city of Christchurch.

It was reported that some officers from the Hong Kong Police Force were on an overseas training workshop in New Zealand when the event happened. The press release states that the officers had "advanced special aid medical training" and assisted in the rescue operations by providing medical assistance to the victims.

I would like to request clarification and further information on the below stated elements:

i. The number of Hong Kong police officers taking part in the rescue operations.
ii. The units to which they are attached in Hong Kong.
iii. Correspondences available regarding the contribution of Hong Kong officers. This can include correspondences between your agency and your Hong Kong colleagues.
iv. Any other documentation that may be relevant to this request.
