From: Alex Harris
Dear New Zealand Defence Force,
I would like to request the following information under the OIA:
* whether your agency has ever employed ZX Security Ltd, to provide training in social media or open source intelligence. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not interested in any work done by them on network security or penetration testing.
* If so, all information relating to, or provided by, ZX Security Ltd in relation to the above.
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris

In many cases they're redacting information publicly available in other releases, so no, they're not. But that also means it is pointless to challenge them.
Internal Affair's response has costs, names and contact details of ZX staff, and room hire rates.

Are the redactions appropriate? I'm not suggesting they are not.
