Time taken to alocate complaints

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Office of the Ombudsman should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Office of the Ombudsmen,
When a complaint is made to yourselves it appears to take over a year for it to even be allocated.
If this is correct what steps are or have been taken to rectify this, as this appears to be a very long time before a complaint is even looked at.
