From: Beau Murrah
Dear Sharyn Leonard,
Thank you very much for your response. This reply is for the purpose of updating the FYI thread on this request. I appreciated speaking to Michael and clarifying the scope of the request.
I clarified that what I was essentially looking for was documents and correspondence including about the effect of algorithms such as Facebook's newsfeed, search and livestreaming algorithms in relation to March 15 terror attack and the Christchurch Call agreement. Michael gave some indication of relevant documents and pointed me to already public information some of which I was unaware.
I appreciated being given an indication of what was in scope and headings where there was likely to be no material. I also appreciate efforts taken to respond to this OIA within the legislative timeframe as to help me prepare submissions on legislation being brought forward in the first half of this year, potentially next month.
Yours sincerely,
Beau Murrah
