I have intentionally used FYI.org.nz - is a website that allows New Zealanders to publicly lodge Official Information Act (OIA) and Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) requests online.
I have done this as I believe that in many instances this can be mutually beneficial for the requester and for the responding government department (such as avoiding duplicated responses).
I am unaware of any internal public portal that is used by the BOPDHB that shares OIA requests
someone else is also following this request, and would be excluded if I started to correspond directly via email with Moana or over the phone.
I would like to continue with this request in the original manner that it was started. I do not want to be told over the phone what the complaint procedure is

Following your email of 8 April 2021 and subsequent concerns, we have
followed up with Nga Mataapuna Oranga again who reviewed the matter and
have now provided us with attached documents and following information.

There was a period from 14 January 2021 when a staff member left the
organisation and that email address was not being monitored or redirected.
This matter has now been resolved and this email address is monitored
regularly and emails are forwarded to the relevant staff member for follow
up. The auto message response has also been updated.

I have intentionally used FYI.org.nz - is a website that allows New
Zealanders to publicly lodge Official Information Act (OIA) and Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) requests online.
I have done this as I believe that in many instances this can be mutually
beneficial for the requester and for the responding government department
(such as avoiding duplicated responses).
I am unaware of any internal public portal that is used by the BOPDHB that
shares OIA requests.
