Auckland Harbour Bridge Planning
Phillip Hart made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
Response to this request is long overdue. By law New Zealand Transport Agency should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Phillip Hart
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
Please provide detail of all the planning (including estimated costs and time frames) that has been conducted into the feasibility of reserving one or more lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge for public transport. Please compare and contrast this with the same information for cycling and walking bridge provisions.
Yours faithfully,
Phillip Hart

Dear Andrea Williamson,
The focus of my request is about potential conversion of traffic lanes on the Harbour Bridge to cycling/walking lanes - as opposed to converting one or more lanes to public transport only lanes.
The work that Brett Gliddon outlined on RNZ Checkpoint on 31 May 2021 might be relevant in defining the scope?
https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programme...
I am not interested in Skypath, Northern Pathway or Sea Path - only planning to convert general traffic lanes.
Hope that helps?
Yours sincerely,
Phillip Hart
