Dear Phoebe Murphy,
I don’t expect it to be a common topic of discussion, but would need to cover at least since 2018 at that’s when the emissions targets were set
Yours sincerely,
Steven Cranston

Dear Phoebe Murphy,
November is far to late for this information. I do not understand what consultation is needed? I’m looking for written communications discussing GWP*. They will be in emails or from meeting notes. This information should be able to be searched for in short time. It is critical to understanding government policy on emissions.
Yours sincerely,
Steven Cranston

Kia ora Steven,
Thank you for your email. Our apologies, the letter we sent referred to the wrong clause of the Official Information Act. I can confirm that we are not extending the deadline for your request under Section 15A(1)(b) due to necessary consultations.
The deadline for this request has instead been extended under Section 15A(1)(a) due to the request necessitating a search through a large quantity of information. I regret that the original notification of extension included the incorrect clause and we apologise for the confusion.
Ngā mihi,
Phoebe

Dear Damien O'Connor,
No communication, emails or meeting notes related to GWP* was received? This does not seem plausible. Please confirm in writing that you have had no communication with advocacy groups related to GWP*
Yours faithfully,
Steven Cranston

Dear Hon Damien O'Connor,
I have been informed that there is significant communications on this subject that have not been disclosed as part of this request. Can you please send me all relevant information.
I would like to extend the scope of the request from 2018 up until the 12th of November 2021. I have been told there was communication recently that would be of interest to the public.
I have been extraordinarily patient with this request so would appreciate the slight extension in scope to save further requests being made under urgency.
Yours sincerely,
Steven Cranston

What is the new extension date? Can I ask for this information by the 8th of October at the latest? Pricing on emissions is due out soon an it’s important for the industry to understand if any discussions or agreements have been made prior which would undermine farmers ability to push for fairer emissions accounting. This is time critical and would greatly appreciate if it was prioritised.
