Dear Scott
Re: Official Information Request – Auckland Regional Public Health Service staffing reports for the Delta outbreak
Thank you for your email. I am writing to acknowledge your official information request dated 24 September 2021.
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and, in any event, no later than 22 October 2021. We will contact you if an extension is required.
“Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic response, Auckland DHB continues to experience significantly higher volumes of requests for information. Many key Auckland DHB and Auckland Regional Public Health Service staff are currently committed to tasks associated with the current COVID-19 outbreak. This will invariably impact on our ability to respond to certain OIA requests within normal timeframes.
If you have any questions about management of OIA during the COVID pandemic you may find it helpful to read the following from the Office of the Ombudsman https://smex12-5-en-ctp.trendmicro.com:4...
Please note that, like other DHBs across New Zealand, Auckland DHB has adopted a model of proactive disclosure which sees OIA responses publically available on our website approximately one month after they have been released. If you believe that there are any special reasons why proactive disclosure should not apply to our response to you, we will be happy to consider this.
Kind regards
Priscilla

Dear Mark Fenwick,
Thank you for responding to my request, and several days before the due date. I notice though that the latest capacity and demand email in your response is dated 22 August, when I was after copies up to 24 September. I was just wanting to make sure the rest hadn't been left out by mistake?
Yours sincerely,
Scott

Hi Scott
Thanks for your patience - busy time.
There weren't any more emails. They did not continue with the meetings and therefore no more emails past that date.

Dear Scott
I have been asked to seek clarification of your request of 26 October:
I would like to request copies of all 2019-nCov Action Plans, dated since
24 September.
I would also like to request copies of these documents:
1. The ARPHS Outbreak Strategy and its Implementation Plan
2. The ARPHS Business Continuity Plan
3. The ARPHS Focused Control Strategy and its Implementation
Plan
4. The ARPHS Wellbeing Plan
5. The ARPHS Operational Plan
Do you request all 2019-nCov Action Plans, dated since 24 September, that
ARPHS has produced?
Or are you asking for all 2019-nCov Action Plans, dated since 24
September, that Auckland DHB has produced?
Or both?
If it is the latter two, we will need to work out how this can be narrowed
to a time period and for plans in specific services.
It would be too broad, as framed, for the DHB in its entirety
Ngā mihi,
Mark
