Delgations under Electronic Identity Verification Act 2012
Alex Harris made this Official Information request to Department of Internal Affairs
The request was refused by Department of Internal Affairs.
From: Alex Harris
Dear Department of Internal Affairs,
Section 51(1)(b) of the Electronic Identity Verification Act 2012 allows the chief executive to perform their functions under that Act by entering into an agreement with a third party. Under section 52 of the Act, such third parties become subject to the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and the Official Information Act 1982. I would like to request the following information under the OIA:
* a list of all third parties the chief executive has entered agreements with under section 51(1)(b) of the Electronic Identity Verification Act 2012.
* For each third party (if any), I would like to know what functions, duties, or powers they provide (and for which they therefore hold official information), and their contact details, including an email address.
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris
