Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,
I am writing to request under the 'Official Information Act 1982' copies of all communication, via email, telephone calls, test messages or minutes of meetings held between the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, and/or her cabinet ministers, Police Commissioner Andrew Coster or other members of the NZ Police/NZ Defence Force and the contents of the discussions, emails, text messages, phone calls and minutes of meetings between the below mentioned ODESC.
Communications sought above are directly related to the Wellington Protest between 1st February 2022 and Current date of writing for transparency. These communications requested also need to include any debriefs held between any of the above mentioned parties of interest specifically once the Wellington Protest ended.
I make reference to a statement quoted by the Prime Minister on 17th February 2022 at a press conference and published by Newshub.

Police Commissioner Andrew Coster was interviewed by Jack Tame of Q&A where a link to the video interview was posted on their Facebook page 07/03/2022.

He was asked " Have you spoken to the Prime Minister after Wednesday?" (I make reference to this being Wednesday 2nd March 2022 when NZ Police shut down the protest"
To which Andrew Coster replied " Of course we've spoken regularly"
It is imperative that New Zealand know the nature of the communications between all parties, especially between Jacinda Ardern as our Prime Minster, and Andrew Coster our Police Commissioner, that there was no cross over that would be deemed a conflict of interest or that Jacinda Ardern had any unreasonable and unjustifiable influence of the NZ Police operations over the course of the Wellington Protest, especially since videos have emerged of Police Brutality against her constituents.
I appreciate your prompt response to this request as it is a matter of public interest.
