Food Shortages
Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) made this Official Information request to Damien O'Connor
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Chuck Schooner (Account suspended) to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Chuck Schooner (Account suspended)
Dear Damien O'Connor,
It is inevitable, ceding power, sovereignty, regulatory authority, energy independence food shortages will be coming to a supermarket near you! Control oil, you control food, control food and you control the people. You people have no idea unless it is being done by design. New Zealand is staring down the brink as the next Sri Lanka, riots in the streets because of stupid green policy and every government intervention designed to make it harder for producers to bring food to the table. This is on you when New Zealand has shortages.
Are you able to provide
- Total food supply at any one time in New Zealand - eg how many years of food is available at any one time in New Zealand for the population of New Zealand - 5 years, 10 years, 20 years
On receipt of this information can you then provide the top 10 threats to food security in New Zealand
- Costs of overpriced energy making it unaffordable for producers
- Closure of Marsden refinery
- Over the top regulatory action of government
- Lack of critical workers exacerbated by incompetent government
- Commitments to supply produce globally without catering to New Zealanders
- Supply chain costs
- Green policy making production uneconomic
- Misguided climate change policy
Can you please provide the most up to date report on food security in New Zealand. All of the above that I see as threats to Kiwis putting food on the table are because government can not leave the people alone. Most problems kiwis faced are added to because of incompetent paper pushers in Wellington and government stupidity.
Yours faithfully,
Chuck
