Commission (“the Commission”) on 28 August 2022 regarding the “Unteach
Racism” website.

 

In our view, it would have been necessary under section 14 of the OIA to
transfer your request to the Teaching Council because the information you
requested is held by that agency and is more closely connected to its
functions.  However, we are aware, through the FYI.org.nz platform, that
you have already made the same request to the Teaching Council, and
therefore we have not transferred it.  We do not hold any additional
relevant information that is not already held by the Teaching Council.

 

If you are unhappy with this response, under the Official Information Act
you are entitled to complain to the Ombudsman’s Office. Information about
