Kia ora,
The OIA team at Manatû Hauora is currently on holiday break. We will
return on 9 January 2023.
Please note, over the holiday period there are three weeks that don’t
count as ‘working days’. For Official Information Act (OIA) requests, that
period is 25 December 2021 to 15 January 2022 (inclusive). OIA requests
received after 29 November 2021 may take a bit longer than you expected.
The OIA calculator can show you the latest date you can expect a
response: [1]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/agency-assistance/official-information-calculators.
Have a safe and happy holiday period.

From: hnzOIA
Kia ora Sue,
As advised in our response to you dated 10 February 2023, the maternity
and mortality datamarts currently only provide data up to 2020. Data for
21/22 is not yet available due to issues with non-registration of deaths
and late registrations of births. The investigations into these are not
yet completed so the data has not been added to the database.
